UNO’s Virtual Carrera 2020 was such a hit, that we decided to offer a Virtual Race option again this year!

Our special Quinceañera celebration will be streamed LIVE from Pilsen, Chicago on Saturday, October 30, 2021. We hope you will join us!

We had Carrera participants representing 40 US states in 2020, and we would love to make it 50!

What is a Virtual Race?

Respect forming clothes do in he. Course A virtual race, sometimes referred to as a virtual run, is an event that people can run anywhere and at any time. You can walk, jog, or run. You can hit the streets, sidewalks, a trail, or even use a treadmill! Feel free to participate in a way that works best for you. The main goal is to get people active and healthy!

How Do I Time My Virtual Run?

The most accurate way to track your distance and time is by using a Running GPS watch, but there are also various free smartphone apps available for iPhones and Android devices including:        

* MapMyRun / MapMyWalk        
* Runkeeper        
* Strava        
* FitBit        
* Garmin Connect       
* Nike Run Club


How are Race Times Verified?

Results are based on the honor system.

Where Do I Upload My Results?

We will not be collecting race times for the virtual race.

Do Virtual Runners Get a Medal?

Yes! Everyone is a winner! A medal is included in every goodie bag.

Can I Run/Walk with My Baby/Toddler/Dog?

Yes! All family members are welcome, even your littles and fur babies.

Do I Have to Complete the Entire Distance All at Once?

Not necessarily. We expect most participants will, however, we understand not everyone is able to complete the distance all at once. The important thing is to set your personal goal and go for it!
